Nicholas is registered with the ARB and chartered by the RIBA since 2001. He has considerable experience as a project and site architect, ranging from loft conversions, modest and large house extensions, alterations, new build private dwellings, and the conservation and rejuvenation of listed buildings. We offer the full range of architect's services from feasibility to completion of the built project. We use advanced modelling software to provide a cost effective service. This includes 3D visualisations, to help our clients understand and develop their designs.
When Nicholas began Brook Morton Architecture in 2010 he considered how best to provide a good and valued service for his clients. For one of our first projects, we were asked to design a dining room extension, as our client felt their house was too small. By reworking the existing layout we were able to reduce an over large family room and relocate the main entrance to provide the required dining room as well as additional utility room without the need to extend. At this point we adopted our philospohy 'to provide our clients with value for their money, not just to build extensions if the existing can be made to work more efficiently'.
It feels like years since I put actual pencil to paper.
