Civil engineering is a professional discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical naturally built environment. Including works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings, it is traditionally broken into several sub-disciplines, these can include environmental and geotechnical engineering, geophysics, geodesy, control engineering, transportation engineering, atmospheric sciences, water resources engineering, surveying, and construction engineering.
BGP has a team of Chartered Building Surveyors with extensive experience in building defects, condition and structural assessment. We can offer impartial, specialist advice to confirm the integrity of buildings as well as the safety of those living and working within them. We can provide the role of a Party Wall Surveyor and also have specialist experience in Historic and Listed Building assessment.
