The original company, Sunshine Cleaning & Hygiene Services, was established 1986 and provided comprehensive cleaning services to commercial properties. Recognising a demand for one stop solution, security and maintenance provisions were added to the client offering. After a period of rapid growth the business was renamed Essential Service Providers to better reflect this new direction. ESP was awarded ISO 9001 for cleaning, mobile, keyholding, static guarding and personnel vetting in 2002. We also became one of the first 200 companies nationwide to achieve the SIA Approved Contractor Status.
At ESP we always start with the individual. It is essential that our staff know, understand and share our expectations of faultless contract delivery. We are not a staff agency with hundreds of names on our books: we recruit, train & manage security professionals that share our passion for customer service and in this we hope to achieve a stable, reliable and cost effective operation over the long term. SIA licensing covers manned guarding (including security guarding, door supervision, close protection, cash and valuables in transit, public space surveillance using CCTV), key holding and vehicle immobilising.
Essential Service Providers commercial property maintenance services covers all incoming services from trained SIA approved personnel. Gas, HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning), plumbing and electrical, planned or reactive and flexible contracts tailored to your needs. We cover Nationally, London and the southeast and offer specialist management of industrial, retail and specialist premises including secure locations and facilities. All our staff are fully trained, uniformed and can respond to agreed attendance times from 2 to 24 hours.
