Every piece of Rough Old Glass antiqued mirror is hand silvered in our North Devon Workshops. The process begins with clear or tinted glass onto which we pour or spray a traditional silver nitrate mix to the reverse of each panel and apply a resist by hand to create the various levels of distressing available. Many designers, architects and contractors are surprised that we are able to offer toughened mirror glass. At Rough Old Glass our process starts with clear or body tinted transparent glass.
We work closely with Architects, Interior Designers, specifiers and the yacht industry worldwide to manufacture mirrors, decorative verreglomis for the hotels and contracts market. We provide prompt and competitive quotations whether it be for single pieces, or packages for larger projects. We may also offer an additional display discount for showroom installations.
