HCL Safety began as a specialist division within a construction and buildings maintenance supplies group before becoming an independent company following a management buy-out in 1992. We quickly became the UK market leader in the installation of safety at height solutions - specifically 'ManSafe' or 'Latchways' systems, manufactured by MSA Safety. In 2015, HCL was acquired by MSA Safety Inc., a global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of safety products that protect people and facility infrastructures.
