HQ Lacquer

HQ Lacquer is a well-established polyester lacquering specialist that has been in business since 1986. We provide a range of high quality finishes using polyester and polyurethane coatings from high gloss to matt, with an endless choice of colours from piano black through to ice white and anything in between. We also undertake restoration and repair of classic car interior woodwork. Some of our other work has involved lacquering TV sets for Sky Sports F1, The X-Factor & Sky News, speakers for KEF & Meridian as well as working with Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin and Mini.

Over the years, HQ Lacquer has supplied lacquered doors for countless kitchens both new and refurbished. Although specialising in high gloss polyester lacquer, HQ Lacquer can supply a vast range of finishes including satin or matt polyurethane lacquer, soft touch, metallic and textured finishes. Our colour range is vast and encompasses Dulux, Pantone, RAL and BS colourways as well as designer ranges such as Farrow & Ball and Designers Guild. We can supply the substrate from a cutting list or, if you prefer, work on doors supplied by you.

HQ Lacquer Ltd. has been established as a family business since 1986 when Directors John Hennessey and Michael Quirke decided to combine their skills as a spray finisher and cabinet maker to set up a bespoke furniture workshop in Battersea, London, specialising in high gloss polyester lacquer finishes. We pride ourselves on understanding your business and your precise requirements, as well as giving the attention to detail you would expect. Whether we are working on a one-off cigar box or supplying 80 speaker cabinets a week, you can be assured that our polyester and polyurethane lacquer finishes as well as our customer service are second to none.

When John Hennessey and Michael Quirke first combined their talents, their vision was to build lacquered furniture to the highest possible standard for discerning customers. Since then, HQ Lacquer has diversified into many different sectors, but custom built furniture remains central to our business. We work closely with interior designers, architects and take on private commissions. At HQ Lacquer we have the knowledge and experience to take your ideas and turn them into reality and, as we manufacture most pieces in our own workshop, we are in complete control from conception to delivery.
