Handcrafted Furniture Specialists in Mexborough
At Sofa-UK, our journey began in 1975 with a vision to craft enduring, high-quality furniture rooted in meticulous craftsmanship. Founded by an upholsterer who honed his skills in Kashmir before relocating to the UK, the business started as Quality Upholstery in a modest rented room while the founder balanced shifts in Sheffield's steel mills. Over decades, we evolved from a small workshop into a trusted family-run enterprise, with each generation preserving our heritage of precision and pride. In 1986, our first commercial workshop enabled bespoke sofa production, followed by a Sheffield showroom. After the founder's passing in 1990, his legacy thrived as the second generation expanded to Mexborough in the 1990s.The 2010s marked a new era: Tawqeer, the founder's grandson, joined full-time, securing a state-of-the-art facility in Rotherham's former Burberry Factory, while his brother Khassid integrated modern expertise. Today, as a third-generation business, we combine tradition with innovation, offering handcrafted furniture designed to last lifetimes. Our commitment to sustainability and quality remains unwavering, driven by the founder's ethos: 'It's not about the money; it's about having pride in what you've created.' With UK-wide delivery and a flagship showroom in Mexborough, we continue to serve customers with the same dedication that defined our humble beginnings.

Well 5 stars doesn't do what these guys have done for us justice! The whole service, quality, standards, adaptability, professional but personal approach the list is endless is second to none! We have never had or even seen a set of be-spoke made to measure furniture to such high standards ever and believe me I am hard to please! Somehow this team have blown us away with there shear talent! Even Simon Cowell would push his golden buzzer lol! I feel a little cheeky just saying thank you. Forget going anywhere else for your furniture no one.and I mean no one can touch these guys! To sum it up."WO W" Thank you so much
