The Bed Shop

Established in 1983, The Bed Shop is a family-owned business located on the edge of the New Forest in southern England. Specialising in adjustable beds, riser-recliner chairs, and bespoke sleep solutions, we combine decades of expertise in bed manufacturing and electronic engineering to address back care and sleep-related needs. Our on-site factory enables custom manufacturing, ensuring each product meets individual requirements while maintaining the highest specifications. We prioritise no-pressure advice, offering unhurried consultations with experienced consultants who understand the importance of comfort and support. With free delivery within a 30-mile radius and disposal of old beds at no extra charge, we provide a comprehensive service tailored to both standard and specialist needs, including solutions for mobility challenges.

Our commitment to quality is reflected in our Konturmatic and Konturcare ranges, designed for durability and engineered with advanced features. We serve customers across Hampshire, Dorset, and Wiltshire, offering competitive pricing without hidden costs. As one of the UKs earliest retailers of adjustable beds, we continue to innovate while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and accessibility, including facilities for disabled visitors. Our teams combined experience ensures every client receives expert guidance, whether selecting a luxury bed, budget option, or custom solution.
