All our furniture is made to order and each piece is unique because it is individually made not manufactured; existing designs can be customised to our customer's personal requirements; we also work with many Garden Designers who request special furniture for certain projects to meet their client's design. All our furniture is handmade to the highest quality and can be to your own design or specification. Premium Quality European Oak is used from reputable suppliers in the UK and is from sustainable sources with a PEFC or FSC Certification, if preferred you can also request a quotation for any item to be made in other timbers.

Thank you for your interest in our interior solid oak furniture, at New Dawn Furniture we use kiln dried American white oak which is sustainable and comes from well managed forests. American white oak has a beautiful and interesting grain pattern which adds to the individual character of the furniture, with a good consistency of colour, this timber is particularly well suited to the popular lighter finishes and is ideal for treating with Danish or boiled linseed oil, it can also be left natural and treated with a clear wax finish.

New Dawn Furniture's teak collection is now being made from Iroko Hardwood due to teaks scarce nature and strict export laws, it is very similar to teak in density, grain structure and colour after ageing and has been used for centuries in the boat industry as a teak alternative.
