Established in 1989, Phoenix Aircon Limited started business in a recession, bucking the trend and flourishing from that day forward. We operate from offices within Pontypool, however having engineers based all around the South Wales area, we are never far away. As previously mentioned, we specialise in the Industrial and Commercial heating, air conditioning and refrigeration sectors. With our knowledge of both the heating and air conditioning trades we provide a single point of contact for your site facilities.
As a specialist Industrial and Commercial company we can provide all your air conditioning solutions, whatever the application offering unbiased advice. Employing time served engineers, we ensure a high level of expertise and all engineers are qualified to work on air conditioning systems. The engineers are either City and Guilds or Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Board qualified, with all engineer qualifications documented on our customer Health and Safety disc.
The high performance Power Inverter and Super Inverter heat pumps manufactured by companies such as Mitsubishi qualify for the ECA. These new air conditioning units have a co-efficient of performance (COP) of around 4:1, some figures have been quoted in excess of 6:1. In simple terms this means that for every 1.00kw of electricity provided the system produces 4.00kw of heat or cooling output (hence 4:1).
Boilers, an essential part of virtually every office, factory, school, hospital and hotel in the country! There aren't many buildings without one. Domestic type wall mounted combination and system boilers are common in smaller offices and can be used in modular form, with multiple boilers zoned for larger offices. Then we progress onto small commercial boilers, again condensing but with an external pump, control panel and pressurisation unit. The next stage are pressure jet burners and as above complete with external pumps, pressurisation units and controls.
