We collaborate with all parties to strengthen the links between risk, resilience and good asset management of our road network. We understand you are looking for value for money, sustainability and longevity with minimal disruption. Our mission is to help you improve the in-service performance of asphalt pavements from design to installation by extending pavement life and reducing the demand for reactive maintenance. Reflective cracking in the road surface is a significant problem and a major drain on public funds.
We are the pavement performance specialists and are experts in making asphalt roads last longer. Our companies are specialist suppliers and installers of a range of solutions to extend the life of asphalt to reduce demand and expense for reactive maintenance and replacement costs. We choose to work closely with our clients and encourage early collaboration to allow timely interventional value for money. Asphalt Reinforcement Services is part of the Asphalt Group Ltd. Other companies under the Asphalt Group Limited include Asphalt Preservation Services and Asphalt Surface Dressing.
A dedicated and experienced team will carry out site inspections and help you to make the right choices when it comes to your pavement construction and overlay rehabilitation strategies. Complemented by a network of international supply chain operators, the team have the reach to advise on a wide-range of project types. We can also provide an ISO 9001 accredited installation service as well as advise on other areas of asphalt asset management. We are triple badge accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications so you can be sure that we are committed to quality, the environment and health and safety in all areas of our work.
Surface dressing is extremely effective for restoring skid resistance and sealing the road surface preventing water ingress and frost heave. All-in surface dressing works by spraying hot bitumen onto the road and then applying and rolling in chippings. The road is then swept to remove any excess chippings. The process extends pavement life, improves efficiency and delays interventions such as the need for repairs. Asphalt Reinforcement Services supply Polymer-Modified Emulsions (PME) for your pavement surfacing needs.
The GlasGrid range of geosynthetic products have been scientifically developed and tested specially to suit different asphalt pavement overlay applications using geogrid design. The geosynthetic products are made from exceptionally strong fibreglass strands, coated and impregnated with a specially formulated polymer resin. GlasGrid is the market leading geosynthetic product for asphalt reinforcement improving efficiency, delaying interventions and reactive maintenance and providing long term value.
There are many causes for asphalt pavement deformation and destabilisation. Whether it be excessive traffic loading, temperature cycles, flooding or any other cause, shear and tensile stresses cause asphalt overlay to crack.
