Our clients wanted to update their kitchen and remove an old conservatory. We have created a large open plan kitchen dining room with sliding doors and a large rooflight. Our clients had considered finding a bigger home in a different area but decided they would like to see if they could achieve their dream home without moving. The client loved the local area but to buy a bigger house which fulfilled all their requirements would have been outside their budget. Together we created a design which made the best use of the space they had, moving the kitchen down to garden level. This project transformed a terraced house with 3 small bedrooms and a tiny kitchen to a spacious 4 bedroom with 3 shower rooms and a large kitchen dining area opening onto the garden.

This project is a single storey wrap around extension comprising a garage, utility room and large kitchen with huge sliding doors opening onto a raised platform at the back. It replaces a small tired kitchen and lean to utility room. Our clients had a fixed budget which they wanted to use to make the best of the space they had. Together we decided to open up the kitchen dining area and replace the kitchen, add new windows and doors, remove an internal wall, raise the.
