FLAT C is an architecture and design studio, established by Selim Bayer and Bulut Cebeci in 2012, in London, UK. There is shared interest and commitment of co-founders in creating architecture based on context and craft. Each project is acknowledged for its unique situation as references are drawn from arts, environment and everyday use. Based on a process driven methodology, the intention is to always achieve clarity in form and detail. As of now, the studio has delivered several projects in the fields of residential, retail, hospitality and exhibition design.

Phil Coffey's London-based team cleared away a caretaker's shed on the site to create the house for architect Selim Bayer of Istanbul-based Flat C/ Architecture. It now stands directly on top of the prison vaults of the Clerkenwell House of Detention, which dates back to 1847.
