Grade I and II Listed Buildings - Conservation Plans and Cadw, Welsh & English Heritage/ Natural England grants. K-Architects offer several architectural services including feasibility studies, cost plans, sketch designs, 3D visualisations, planning application submissions, building regulation submissions, detailed design, tender documentation and contract administration. At K-Architects our objective is simple: to offer you a efficient and highly professional service with the intention of producing a great finished project to your desired budget.

The RIBA has described the Architect's role in the preparation, design, construction and completion of a building project through a Schedule of Design Services divided into Work Stages. K-Architects are currently operating in coordination with the new RIBA Plan of Work 2013. K-Architects use these stages as the rules of engagement on building projects against which the particular service required can be negotiated with the client on a stage-by-stage basis. The service and the associated fee are usually expressed as a lump sum for certainty, whilst agreed at an early stage it is also open to negotiation as the project progresses, flexible enough to be tuned in order to ensure a successful outcome to the project.

K-Architects aim is to produce beautiful, sustainable environments that demonstrate how good design can be compatible with economic, social and environmental well being for our clients. The practice was formed in 2013 by Darren L. Knight, a talented, energetic and young architect committed to designing in a affordable and sustainable way, who has over 17 years professional practice experience in architecture. Together with the practice's structure of core staff and freelancers, we have worked regularly with a variety of consultants, engineers and interior designers to encourage collaboration between different specialised fields.
