We can also assist you with funding the installation through the latest Government Green Homes Grant Scheme. In the first instance a qualified and accredited Retrofit Energy assessor will carry out a professional survey of your loft. The purpose of this survey is to find out what type of loft hatch is in place, the level and condition of the existing insulation, inspect the roof for any possible defects, identify pipes that will need lagging as well as any hazards such as wasps nests, asbestos tanks, pipes, ductwork etc. and evidence of any pests or protected species.

At DKM Developments Ltd we offer a full kitchen fitting service including plumbing and electrical works and are aware of the large financial commitment that is made by our customers when having a new kitchen fitted. We work closely with our customers to assist with design, type of kitchen, use of available space, location and condition of water, gas and electricity pipework, cabling and sockets. We work closely with designers at our customers' chosen supply company to ensure that the design of kitchen will work with the space available.
We can fit plaster board to ceilings and walls and have carried out many installations for our customers over the years. We use plaster board to straighten out and level surfaces prior to skimming. A combination of screws and dry wall adhesive are used for fixing the board. Joints between the boards are then caulked and scrim taped for skimming. Any power sockets, switches, roses and downlighters are removed and re-fitted after completion. This is all included in our price. We offer a radiator removal and refitting service as a much better finish is achieved.
