Many insurers have networks of of their "approved" repairers, they may try and convince you to have your car repaired where they choose, rememeber this if for their convenience not yours. They are often garages willing to work to very cheap rates to save your insurance company money for what is usually lower quality workmanship often using non genuine parts. Don't be unduly influenced by insurers suggestions of delays, no courtesy car and extra excess costs if you dont do what they say. You are entitled to consider the benefits of dealing with the repairer of your choice and feel free to contact us to discuss any penalties your insurance company try to enforce, these are often not legal.
