Took my printer in this morning as it's been refusing to print black for the last few weeks. Openly honest from the outset they feared they'd not be able to fix it as it would probably need to go back to HP, but nevertheless they spent all morning patiently cleaning the print heads 'several times', cleaning filters with solutions and even trying new ink cartridges from the shop. All to no avail. Despite time spent they insisted there was no charge. You can't ask more than that. Many thanks for all the advice.
