The company began expanding throughout the early 1980's to cover Bristol and later, especially for the larger drainage engineering projects, the whole of the South West. In the late 1980's the first lorry combination unit was purchased and the name was changed to Mega-Rod to reflect the size of the drains our engineers were beginning to clear.
