Typically a household would normally use around 30% of the total energy generated by the homes solar panels, resulting in around 70% been sent back to the grid with very little to no benefit to the generator. You can now store this unused energy generated from your solar panels via the solar battery for use during the night or peak hours when you most need it most. Any excess energy will charge the battery system ready to be used for FREE on demand at evening time and through the night. In addition to charging from FREE excess solar energy during the day, the battery storage system can easily be set to charge directly from the grid when electricity is cheap or even FREE, for example charge at cheap rate overnight to take care of morning consumption, let your solar panels supply and charge the battery during the day to take care of night time consumption.

Ecocute: The review is untrue, the comment regarding taking Ecocute to small claims court is untrue and he his trying to claim through the Bank of Scotland for a credit card refund after his credit card declined his refund.
About to take Ecocute to the small claims court. Tiles displaced by a very large gap leading to possible ingress of water and vermine. Sent image of tile displacement to several roofers / solar installers who were appalled. Had a survey done which confirmed poor installation. System came with "Rowan Rewards" which paid for about 3 months then ceased.

We had an amazing experience working with Ecocute on the installation of our solar panel and battery storage system. Getting a quote from them was so easy, I did not even need to leave my desk. I inquired online and had a phone call from them within the hour to discuss the installation. They were able to give me details of the installation remotely and even came up with better solutions than companies that had come to quote us in person. I had done a little bit of shopping around before I got in touch with Ecocute and they came in with by far the best price. From getting the initial quote to the installation day was only three weeks and that was me delaying the installation, they could have come sooner if we had been able to. On the day of installation the team were done in around 4 hours, they turned up on time and were very easy to work with on the day. They also sorted all the paperwork out and even set us up on the AlphaESS app so that we can easily monitor PV levels and use the panels as effectively as possible. Anyone who is thinking about solar and storage should definitely have Ecocute as a first port of call, we couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Phoned Connor on the off chance they had any alpha ESS batteries in stock, after my current supplier left me dangling for 3 -4 months. He was confident and showed me photos of the batteries in stock in his Wharehouse. Didn’t ask for any upfront money untill the battery was installed. Which was reassuring, everything he discussed was bang on time and installation went exactly how they said.! Will not hesitate in recommending and look forward to my solar panels when the roof is changed

I called Ecocute which was third on my list of companies to call that morning and got a swift response, I discussed with Connor what my requirements were and he came back with a quote the same day. The quote included all elements of the fitting position of the panels and prices for the panels, we decided to leave a battery option till a later date. The fitters came and fitted the system in three and a half hours, the panels and the electrical wiring together with the inverter are fitted to an exceptional standard, my wife and I are delighted with the work and the Solis app. Batley West Yorkshire.

I don’t normally leave reviews unless the company deserve it and EcoCute do. There wasn’t a site visit so no pushy salesperson, which is what I experienced from a competitor. I wanted the best price from EcoCute and that’s what I got. I have no issues in recommending EcoCute, everything was straight forward and delivered and installed on the dates agreed. I now look forward to saving on my electric bill. Five stars from me.

Connor and co were easy to deal with, the quotation and our options were clearly explained. They came on time, a team of three, and had the system fitted by lunchtime. Our system is a 16 panel PV array 4.88KWp, coupled with a Solis 3.6KW inverter (you need advance permission from the DNO for larger inverters). The projected energy production was 4000KWh, in the first full year we have produced 4324Kwh (we are in the Yorkshire Dales). A solar diverter device (iBoost) heats our hot water using the existing immersion heater - essentially free hot water from February through to September. Would we use them again? yes we would! In fact we are about to!

Ecocute carried out our PV & Battery installation, with top quality materials. All the team we’re fantastic inc the office but worthy of a special mention are Conner & Corey, nothing was too much trouble everything was explained in detail with lots of support and documentation. We obviously had lots of questions these were dealt with speedily and efficiently too. The installation team were polite, prompt and respectful of our property, pets and gardens. The installation is already saving us money right from the switch on, which of course is so important to us with the cost of electricity right now, but more so with the pice caps being removed and the prices rising even further! Do your own homework the payback will be much quicker than you expected in the past with the cost of energy rising so fast, if you’re on the fence to invest in PV now is the right time! The system integrates beautifully with our needs, with an App for remote monitoring and settings adjustments along with facts and figures of Generation and savings. In these times PV with or without batteries is a true investment even more so a must if you own an electric vehicle. Ecocute get an all round 11/10 for the complete service from the remote survey to installation and on going support brilliant

Ecocute recently installed an Alpha ESS battery to soak up my excess power generating . Connor, as always was excellent in going through the benefits and costs. I was nervous about spending the money, but he always has time to listen. I even requested an extra battery three days before install and they went out of their way to get this. Corey the electrician was excellent on the day, installing where requested with no issues. All my usernames were provided promptly and I was able to install the app with no issues. I know they are monitoring it as they noticed a few changes I made. There are a lot of rogues in the Solar Trade and Ecocute is not one of them. They don't run away and answer the phone.

We had 3 quotes for installing Solar Panels, we decided on Ecocute as they explained everything about the installation, telling us how long it would take and what we could expect from Solar. No negatives to report only positives. Panels arrived and were installed on our roof one morning and the electrician connected everything and was finished by mid-afternoon. My husband is in the building trade and was impressed by the electrician's work. I would recommend this company anytime. There after- sale service is excellent as well.

Professional, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient are just a few words that don’t adequately describe the team at Ecocute. I cannot praise them enough for the service they give, from quotation to installation they make the process straightforward and explain everything in detail so there are no surprises waiting to jump out at you. Connor was very patient in answering the many questions I had about the PV panels and battery storage and left me in no doubt about what to expect. When it came to the installation Scott the roofer and Corey the electrician were a wonder to behold, they never stopped from the moment they arrived and had everything installed and running in just over a day, both are a real credit to Ecocute. For excellent service and value, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was wanting to get solar panels fitted to help reduce bills and charge my EV. Ecocute were recommended by other users of an EV group on Facebook, so I contacted them. They were great, no pressure, explained everything, and the estimates for usage and generation they emailed me were thorough but easy to understand. The workmen were polite, efficient and got the job done within a day. We had solar panels, inverter and the appropriate electrical work done. The process was simple and Connor, our contact, couldn't have been more helpful. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for solar panels.
