Our machinery will fit through a standard garden gate and can access most garden situations. The stump is simply ground down to around 300 mm below ground level. The woody mulch that remains can be used around the garden as a mulch or we can clear it all away. Aside from just being in the way, tree stumps can become a disease risk in your garden as they are readily infected by Honey Fungus. This is another good reason have us grind them out. It may not always be practical or cost effective to grind out every stump.

Nothing lasts forever! Trees may need to be removed for various good reasons. In most garden situations there is just not enough space to simply fell a tree from ground level. Specialist skills, equipment and expertise are required to remove trees safely, efficiently and without damage to your garden and property. We have developed our skills and expertise over many years and invested in machinery and equipment especially for garden tree removal work. We allow plenty of time to clear all the debris and tidy up thoroughly when the job is finished.

We have many years' experience in pruning and shaping trees of every kind. A well pruned tree is a thing of beauty and we take great pride in the quality of our work. Good pruning is all about shape, balance and enhancing the natural form of the tree. There are several different pruning operations commonly carried out depending on the circumstances. The descriptions below describe the more typical methods that we use. However, there are many ways of pruning trees and we are always pleased to listen to our clients and advise accordingly.

From dismantling large trees in confined spaces to site clearance work - we are properly trained, equipped and experienced to carry work on your site safely and efficiently. Smaller site clearance is carried out with more compact machinery appropriate to the site conditions and volume of work. On larger site clearance work we will use whole tree chippers and larger machinery to clear large numbers of trees safely and efficiently. Our staff are properly trained and certificated. All our machinery is properly maintained.

Tree stumps can be a real problem on some sites. We use powerful tracked stumpgrinders and fully trained operators to grind down stumps of any size. The tracked machinery can get just about anywhere on a site and can grind as deep as 450mm when required. The resulting mulch can either be cleared or levelled out to the required grade. This can be far more cost effective than pulling stumps out with a machine which then presents the problem of disposing of the stumps and roots. Some sites may not require the physical removal of cut stumps and we have a system that uses chemical plugs that are drilled into the stump to inhibit regrowth and accelerate natural decay.
