Based in Crouch End, North London, Forbes Treecare was founded in 2010 by Sean Galton. A passion for conservation was the motivation to form a company that could maintain and care for trees in the urban environment. Specialising in urban forestry, we are a highly professional team of arborists who cater for all needs tree related. We put the environment at the forefront of our work, reducing emissions and reusing tree products wherever possible. We appreciate the importance of safety and trees in the city.

Reducing the height and spread of the crown of a tree, crown reductions allow more light into a space and reduce the potential sail effect of the wind. Removing selected branches from the canopy to increase light levels and reduce the sail effect. This does not usually reduce the height or spread of a tree. Once a tree is felled you may choose to have the stump removed. Stump grinding uses a machine to remove the stump to below ground level, for aesthetic reasons or to allow for replanting. Where possible it's always a good idea to replace a felled tree.
