We are able to carry out all surveys and installations CONTACT-FREE to adhere to social distancing guidelines. We are passionate about transforming conservatories into spaces you can enjoy all year round. Our conservatory roof conversions have been designed to be completed in less than a day. This is the perfect chance to ask any initial questions you may have about our conservatory roofing.

We've heard many of our customers tell us that trying to heat their conservatory was 'like trying to fill a bucket with a hole in it'. With their old glass or polycarbonate roof, they would have to heat it constantly in winter just to make it bearable. The minute the heating was switched off, the room went cold. Our lightweight panels provide much higher levels of insulation than glass or polycarbonate. With 75mm of high-density foam insulation inside, they are up to eight times better than your existing roof at keeping the heat in.

A conservatory is often the most underused room in the home. Conservatories can become very warm in the summer and very cold during the winter months. In many homes, this prevents proper use of the conservatory for most of the year and they become a dumping ground or are only used for part of the year - sound familiar? In 2010 the planning laws were relaxed and in the majority of cases, you can now fit a solid roof to your conservatory without planning permission. This means better insulation, keeping the room warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer in comparison to traditional roofing materials, and a room that you can enjoy every day, all year round.

Polycarbonate and glazed conservatory roofs can leave conservatories exposed to the summer elements. In effect, many conservatories become an extra greenhouse. There are a few things you can try to make a conservatory cooler in summer but these often aren't effective. We offer a simple conservatory roof option to help you enjoy your conservatory during summer. Our insulated roof panels are tailor-made to fit your existing conservatory roof frame and are installed in just one day. Our conservatory roof panels are precision made from lightweight aluminium.

At Green Space UK, our process has been designed to give you the best conservatory roof panel replacement possible, with minimal disruption to your home. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes, to ensure we can transform your conservatory in less than a day on-site. Every new conservatory roof panel is made from an aluminium sheet and a thick layer of insulation. The measurements of your existing framework are taken at point of survey, and these details are input into a computer system. The system cuts the grooves and shapes into the aluminium sheet to form the outside casing of each panel.

This is one of the most common reasons why people look into replacement conservatory roof options. Old building regulations meant conservatory roofs had to be at least 75% transparent. This limited the choice for conservatory roofs to be made from polycarbonate or glazed roof panels. Unfortunately, these conservatory roof options lack proper insulation for conservatories. As you probably know, Britain can become bitterly cold in the winter. As a result, conservatories are often the coldest room in the home.
