Airedale Roofing was established by Steve Cottle in 1984, and is celebrating over 33 years of continuous successful trading as a family run local business. We cover every aspect of both flat and pitched roofing together with all associated works. Our experienced and trained workforce all work for us full-time and we never use sub-contractors. As well as the replacement of flat and pitched roof coverings, we pride ourselves on our ability to carry out cost effective localised repair and maintenance works both to cure leaks and extend the life of the original roof covering. To this end, we work together with numerous Letting and Estate Agents in carrying out surveys and providing reports/quotations for all types of roofing issues.

As well as carrying out repairs and maintenance to all types of pitched roofs, we also provide a re-roofing service for those which have gone past the state of repair. Our experienced team are able to replace all roof coverings, including traditional Welsh and stone slate, as well as the modern concrete tile options. Re-roofing also gives the best opportunity to carry out the upgrading of the loft insulation (if necessary) to meet current building regulations. A ten year guarantee comes as standard with all new roof coverings.

We are one of the few remaining companies specialising in the traditional built-up felt roofing system, comprising three layers of high performance felt fully bonded with hot bitumen. This is a tried and tested system which is still the most cost effective method for dealing with all flat roofs, including dormers, garages, car-ports and extensions. The quality of the high performance felt used nowadays has greatly improved the life expectancy, with all re-felting works carrying a minimum ten year guarantee, and in our many years experience will last much longer.
