Bodel Distributors Ltd was founded in 1975 to distribute flat pack kitchens and given exclusive rights of the famous Swiss Franke brand in Northern Ireland selling to kitchen specialists. A move to larger premises in Hulls Lane in Lisburn in 1980 provided ample scope for further expansion. Britannia and Smeg followed in the 1990's, CDA in 2005 and the territory increased to all of Ireland for these brands. Two further 10,000 sq ft warehouses were built on the land to add to the existing 4 already there.
