Specialist Lighting Services are based in Warrington, Cheshire and provide Lighting & Electrical Services to many industries such as local industry, councils, Retail shops, stores, and offices.
Over the last 13 years Specialist Lighting Services has developed from prominently specialising in industrial lighting maintenance to the progression of all aspects of lighting installations and refurbishment, electrical installations, electrical testing at customer premises and portable appliance testing building up a successful North West based Company. We have achieved a reputation as a professional company offering a flexible approach to every aspect of the business; offering ideas, solutions and cost effective ways of managing lighting installations and managed lighting programmes on a small or large scale.
Inspection and tests are required. Emergency Lighting is governed by BS 5266/EN 1838. We carry out the Emergency Lighting monthly or quarterly this can coincide with a general lighting inspection to give you a lighting report. A test should be carried out annually. It is of benefit to the life of the batteries if they are fully discharged every year (self contained units). With our service there is advice and recommendations to comply with the legal legislation. All records and certification is issued for Health & Safety.
