Pennells Garden Centre

Our garden centres, concessions, food hall, farm shop and Simpsons Butchers are open and are operating with full social distancing in place to protect our customers and staff. Our business is passionate about the environment! We have taken steps to reduce our energy consumption, lowering our carbon emissions for our loved local community.

The Gardeners Restaurant is a 420 seat modern purpose built building complete with a theatre cooking area to watch the food being prepared in front of you. As an award winning restaurant it has an excellent reputation for providing our customers with home made food at excellent prices. The Restaurant also achieved the maximum 5 stars in Business Hygiene from North Kesteven District Council. There are 2 different hot meals each day with a roast Wednesdays and Sunday as well as many other lighter snacks such as Panini's, jacket potatoes soup etc.

November is the ideal time to plant new shrubs and trees, as well as to move existing ones in the garden. The soil is still relatively warm which encourages newly planted shrubs to make fresh roots so that the plant becomes well established before the spring. There may not be too many flowers in your autumn border now, but by dividing large clumps of perennials such as argyranthemum, rudbeckia, gaillardia, helenium and echinacea you can triple your late summer flower power in one season. Perennials die down each winter and regrow in the spring and summer.
