WT Laminates

We were established in 1974 and for the past 45 years we have specialised in supplying laminate products. Over the years the business has evolved specialising in worktops and fabrication of laminate products. In 2007 we increased our workshop space and entered the solid surface market and the business has grown. Solid surface is now a major part of our company we became a Dupont Corian Fabricator in 2010 and in 2016 we became a Premier Quality Network partner. In 2015 we moved from Courtybella Terrace (and closed our 2 units in Enterprise Way) to larger premises on Newport Business Park.

We believe we have the biggest range of laminate worktops in Newport and South Wales all these can be viewed in our showroom. Standard sizes vary and range from from 1.8M to 4.1M in lenght. The thickness ranges from 22mm to 40mm although most kitchen worktops are normally 40mm. The standard depth of worktops are 600mm (Breakfast Bars are 665mm and 900mm). Should these sizes not suit your requirements we can cut them to size or make them to your requirements. If for example, you have purchased a kitchen from IKEA or Howdens we can provide 616mm to suit their kitchens.

Newport based WT Laminates offers a huge range of worktop, panel cutting services available to both trade and the public. Some of our services are listed below. All fabrication and manufacturing are finished to the highest of standards. These are 'curves' or 'radius' ends which are fabricated to suit corner posts, corner units. Very similar to a traditional but and scribe join however this is a completely straight cut and used on square edge worktops only. Usually when having an extension there will be a pillar which would have been the dividing wall between the two rooms and we can cut around these.

We will make a template of your worktops depending upon the size and shape of your kitchen this can take anything from half an hour to a few hours.

In 2007 we started installing Worktops. Today we have our two workshops one that is solely for the production of Solid Surfaces, the other for laminate worksurfaces. At the moment we should be able to fit most solid worktops into your property within two weeks of placing an order. If you can bring your measurements They don't have to be that accurate - Just enough to help us recommend the most suitable worktops for you. Our worktop choice is huge, a lot of our patterns are very similar but because they come in different sizes, if we have a rough idea of your kitchen size we can cut down on the waste.
