We wanted a local double glazing for a significant refurbishment/high spend chosen as they are Which Trusted Traders (?). The install that has been done took longer than planned but was very good and of a high quality and the sales pitch was sensible not heavy. Price was fair but they keep finding missed costs. Negatives is almost one year on we still have not had the facias and gutters done. Numerous fitting appointments that did not happen, sub-contractor blaming Starglaze and vice versa.
The quotes are not complete, either on windows or facias. On the facias/gutterings delays in surveys, the initial quote was not updated, installer turned up once and left, now we need scaffolding for facias and gutters (more cost they had not included). Hours of calls, countless emails, churn of staff who are always going to go to managers but nothing rsolved. Next week we have an install but I fear we may see the resurrection before this outfit can actually just do what we have paid months ago for. Avoid them please go for a competent firm for a major spend.
