We pride ourselves on our extensive range of lifting equipment, stocking nearly a thousand different products. We have everything from smaller such as eyebolts and shackles, to items equipped to physically lift heavier loads such as chain blocks, air hoists and lever hoists; these make up part of our hoists & hoisting equipment range. We also manufacture Crane & gantry systems like Jib Cranes and mobile lifting gantries as well as supplying workshop floor cranes and lightweight aluminium lifting gantries.

The team of engineers at Lifting Gear Direct are able to carry out various testing procedures on many types of lifting equipment. This may be carried out in-house in our own workshops or on-site at the customer's workplace. Demand for these services has greatly increased over the years due to health and safety requirements and the need for traceability of all types of testing and inspections. Proof load testing is one of the commonest tests asked for with regards to lifting equipment as this demonstrates the equipment's fitness and capability of withstanding the safe working load marked on the equipment.

The team at Lifting Gear Direct have been manufacturing certain types of lifting equipment for decades and are proud to have installed our equipment in companies throughout the UK. Besides the cranes that we produce, we can also manufacture smaller lifting equipment such a lifting beams and plate lifting dogs to facilitate the easier lifting of specific loads. Webbing products such as web slings and ratchet straps can also be made to order thanks to our own industrial sewing workshop, we are happy to make one off items or many multiples to suit your needs.
