Services
Sash Window Renovation
Our sash window renovation service preserves historical character while modernising functionality. We repair damaged timbers, install draught proofing systems, and restore original operating mechanisms. Using traditional joinery techniques combined with modern materials, we extend window lifespan by decades while maintaining period authenticity. This service suits listed buildings and conservation areas requiring sympathetic restoration.
Sash Window Replacement
When renovation isn't viable, we craft bespoke replacement sash windows matching original designs. Using Accoya timber and traditional construction methods, we replicate historic profiles while incorporating energy-efficient features. Our replacements maintain architectural integrity while offering modern performance benefits through enhanced durability and thermal efficiency.
Draught Proofing
Our Super-Glide Draught Proofing System reduces air infiltration by up to 98%. The brush pile system eliminates rattles while maintaining smooth operation. This solution improves energy efficiency by 15-20%, reduces noise pollution, and prevents moisture ingress. The system integrates seamlessly with both new and existing sash windows.
Slim Double Glazing
Our slim double glazing retrofit preserves original window frames while enhancing thermal performance. Using Heritage Slim-lite units, we maintain traditional aesthetics while achieving modern energy standards. This solution offers significant heat retention without altering window proportions or character.
