Services
Roof Windows
FAKRO's roof windows combine advanced thermal insulation with innovative opening mechanisms. Our PVC and timber-framed units feature triple glazing for energy efficiency, with options including electric Z-Wave control and burglar-resistant designs. Available in centre pivot, top hung, and conservation styles, these windows maximise natural light while maintaining building integrity. The range includes specialist solutions for flat roofs and heritage properties.
Loft Ladders
Our insulated loft ladders offer safe, space-saving access to roof spaces. Constructed from durable timber or lightweight aluminium, they include fire-rated models achieving EI2 fire resistance. Electrically operated scissor ladders provide motorised convenience, while compact designs suit tight eaves spaces. All ladders feature pre-assembled insulated hatches for airtight installation, reducing heat loss through loft openings.
Flat Roof Systems
FAKRO's flat roof windows deliver daylighting solutions for modern architecture. The thermally broken PVC frames achieve U-values as low as 0.64 W/mK, with non-opening and electrically vented options. Models like the DXW walk-on rooflight combine structural strength with aesthetic appeal. Custom-sized units and integrated flashings ensure watertight installation on flat and low-pitch roofs, with options for smoke ventilation compliance.
Electric Windows
Z-Wave enabled electric roof windows offer wireless control integration with home automation systems. These motorised units feature rain sensors for automatic closure and remote operation via smartphone or wall-mounted panels. Available in centre pivot and flat roof configurations, they support voice control through compatible smart home hubs, enhancing convenience and security for modern buildings.
Conservation Rooflights
Specially designed for listed buildings and conservation areas, these rooflights maintain traditional aesthetics while delivering modern performance. The slimline profiles and authentic finishes comply with planning restrictions, while advanced glazing provides thermal efficiency. Available in timber or PVC, they include options with traditional ironmongery details and sympathetic designs that preserve architectural character in historic properties.
