Somebody Cares Megastore

Through the kindness and generosity of the good people of Aberdeen & beyond, we provide free food furniture, clothing and much more to the poor, the vulnerable and the marginalised people of the area. Established in 2002, Somebody Cares has seen steady growth until the last year when the growth has been explosive and Somebody Cares, over the past year has assisted literally thousands of families, children, pensioners and individuals. We collect pre-loved items of furniture, electrical goods, clothing and antiques, then we redistribute them from our warehouse to families in need or sell them from our shop in Hazelhead.

If you are in need of help with food, clothing, furniture or household goods then contact your social worker/health care worker/agency, etc. If you are not working with an agency, but urgently need help, call us on 01224 200 197 and we may be able to help you'. Record numbers of food bags are being given out, record numbers of people received food and a record number of families received presents for their children. Our deep desire is that everyone in the Aberdeen communities across the city are catching the spirit of what we are trying to do within Aberdeen City with our SomebodyCares Food Initiative.
