Our yard has a modern workshop capable of dealing with supply and fabrication of structural steelwork & plant maintenance. All works undertaken by the company are carried out with an absolute focus on Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental Control.
To facilitate this the Company employs a small number of Joiners, Bricklayers, Plasters and Labourers with vetted and approved Sub Contractors carrying out any required work out-with these activities to include Plumber work, Electrical work, Masonry repair, Roofing and Decoration. We do not pursue Construction work as a General Contractor the majority of the Construction work undertaken being linked to or arising out of a corresponding Structural work or Demolition work element such as fire damaged roof reconstruction, oriel rebuilds, structural slapping, gable weather protection etc.
We have a wide range of plant at our disposal allowing us to tackle even the most complex demolition jobs. Whether it's a domestic, commercial or industrial; open space or a dense urban area JCJ group always bring the best tools for the job. But it's more than having the right equipment. JCJ Group are skilled professionals with years of experience, the best available training and impeccable adherence to standards. Before any demolition work begins the site will be subject to a full survey allowing us to assess the site for safety, determine a realistic time scale and address any environmental or legislative concerns.
We have access to all of the necessary PPE and respiratory equipment which is regularly checked and kept to a high standard in line with currently legislation. We acquired our Asbestos Removal Licence in 1999 and in the time since we have successfully carried out works throughout Scotland. We have served both the public and private sectors where safety is of the highest concern. All surveys and removals are carried out to the standard of current asbestos legislation. During each project we perform a detailed survey in order to determine the cost, time scale and to highlight any potential concerns.
