Having originally traded under the names Beazer Plant Sales and BM Plant between 1972 and 1993, the Company became HM Plant in 1993 before becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe in 2007 and eventually changing its name to Hitachi Construction Machinery UK in 2014. From the company's formation to the present day our ethos has been to be the leading name in construction equipment in the UK, by delivering market leading products with national product support. Within the first year of becoming a Hitachi sub-dealer; distributing Hitachi's range of hydraulic excavators, the we were appointed Hitachi's official UK importer in 1980.

Designed and engineered to operate in the toughest of work conditions, our range of Hitachi Zaxis excavators are ideal for demolition projects, with the standard ZX250-6 - ZX890-6 also having the option of additional safety features such as cab and undercarriage guards. Hitachi have also developed a range of Hitachi crawler excavators specifically for demolition, fitted with mono, two or three piece boom, they can reach up to 40m and have a variety of optional extras and attachments available. While the Hitachi straight boom machines offer a significant height increase in working range with excellent lift capacity.

As well as the suitability of our standard range of Hitachi excavators and wheel loaders for the application of waste management, we have also developed a range of crawler excavators specifically for material handling. Fitted with an elevated cab for enhanced visibility and a heavier counterweight for greater stability, they also have a variety of optional extras and attachments available.
