We are the National Service Partner for ABB who have installed more Solar PV Inverters Globally than any other manufacturer. We service & maintain both Commercial and Residential solar panels systems ranging from large solar farms to small domestic solar installations both ground and roof mounted, we currently service around 3500 domestic customers all over Scotland, our most recent commercial system service was a 1 Megawatt system we serviced for ALDI at their Scottish distribution centre in Bathgate.

Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) is the most effective way of ensuring your PV solar panel system is performing correctly. Has your solar PV system been inspected to ensure that it is compliant with MCS regulations? Although your system was installed by an MCS company, they may not have been a qualified electrician. A faulty installation may impact the validity of your insurance policy in the unfortunate event of a fire. With the instant growth and popularity of Solar PV systems being installed throughout the UK, installations have been rushed and often completed by apprentices without the competency to comply with MCS regulations.

Why clean my Solar Panels? Solar panels work by allowing light into the solar cells, the more light that gets in the more power it will generate, the panels are normally installed at an angle to make them more efficient, this does however make them prone to a build up of dust and dirt that does not clean itself with just rain, then if you take into consideration other elements like bird droppings etc this can have an extremely detrimental effect on the returns you are expecting from your own PV system.
