Most floor coverings are suitable for use with underfloor heating, however you will need to consider the tog rating of your chosen floor covering - ideally this should be around 1.5 tog, and not exceed 2.5 tog. Incognito Heat Co provides systems to enable you to include underfloor heating into most floor constructions. The most common method is to include the pipework within the floor screed build-up in the initial stage. However we can also cater for joisted, structural, floating, and low profile systems.

Our Underfloor Heating systems are connected to a number of heat generating appliances. Whilst fossil fuels have been used traditionally, renewable energy sources are increasingly being adopted. Harnessing the most abundant source of energy - the sun, heat pumps extract solar energy which has been absorbed by the air, the ground, rivers and lakes. Pipe centres of one metre are maintained across the array. Dependant on the heat requirements of the property, more than one loop may be required, in which case multiple loops are connected to a manifold, before connecting to the plant room as a pair of flow and return pipes.
