Kevin and his crew, from Gennaro, did an amazing job for us in fitting our extension with a new 'floor to gable high' structural aluminium frame and double glazed window units together with a full height side window panel. The units fitted perfectly and were installed most efficiently and with good cheer; despite the temperature being sub-zero (we kept them in hot coffee, tea and biscuits). The finish on the installation was superb and the guys tided everything away perfectly as well as removing the previous installation.
Customer requires 60 minute fire rating however needs to retain existing single glazed timber sash and case windows, windows don't require to be openable for ventilation but require to be openable for periodic cleaning. Gennaro EI60 Fire Rated Secondary Glazed Windows powdercoated RAL 9010 to match existing windows, double glazed with EI60 25mm Contraflam / Argon / 6mm Planitherm Toughened, some windows with arched heads to suit opening and allow viewing of leaded panels.
Customer requires to create a fire escape from upper floor offices down to the roof below, into the building and then joining the main fire exit stairs, the route of escape directly passes windows on the 4th floor therefore a 30 Minute fire rating is required.
