Since graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2008, with a BSc Honours in Interior Design, I have worked in the industry as a Designer. Working on Retail, Corporate and Hospitality projects. Designing everything from display units to complete stores, cafes & restaurants. In January 2017 I decided to take the plunge and step out on my own, creating NJR Interior Design. I have a passion for design and an eye for detail. As an Interior Designer my role is to interpret your requirements, and ideas allowing me to create a brief and bring your vision to reality.
I am also pleased to offer Interior Design at a Domestic level. I am happy to take on small projects from 1 room to the full House. The service offered for Domestic Interior design is exactly as any Commercial project. I would visit your home for an initial consultation and discuss your requirements, ideas and budget, as well as survey your property. From this meeting I would create a mood/look and feel board, draw up any layout drawings and provide visuals if necessary. Once you're are happy with the proposed design, the option then is to continue with myself to project manage, complete and install the works.
Currently working on designs for a domestic refurbishment, which includes a master bedroom and en-suite, two guest bedrooms and a main bathroom. These are the look and feel boards which have been produced for each room. The master has a luxurious and glamorous feel, the guest bed rooms are full of character and colour. The en-suite and bathroom are warm and tactile with fabulous feature tiling in both. Keep your eye out for the visuals of the rooms.
