All of our technicians have been trained to NPTC standard, most have gone beyond this and are fully trained and qualified Greenkeepers and Groundsmen.

This service is designed for lawns which have more moss than grass, have been worn out over the years through excessive use, or simply damaged to the point that they require extensive remedial work to bring them back to their former glory. Aeration is performed in order to improve drainage and reduce compaction. We carry out two types of aeration; Hollow Tine Aeration is the best way of breaking up sub-surface thatch to improve compaction and availability of water, oxygen and fertilisers in getting to the root zone where grass needs it the most. Hollow Tine Aeration will remove hundreds of cores from your lawn. Alternatively, we also provide Solid Tine Aeration which has all the benefits of Hollow Tine Aeration as it improves drainage etc but will not reduce compaction in the same way.

Through our knowledge and experience, we recognise that to create the perfect lawn it requires a lot more than fertilisers alone. Each lawn is unique therefore requires an individually tailored maintenance programme. Our flagship Premier Service consists of eight comprehensive visits spread over 12 months which includes; spring scarifying and seeding (where required), a balanced programme of soil conditioners and fertiliser feeds throughout the summer months when you want your lawn looking its best, weed control (at the appropriate time), autumn hollow core aeration to improve drainage and root development, winter feeds to control moss, and winter solid tine aeration to continue to improve drainage over the wet Scottish winters and aid air circulation to the roots.

Pro Lawn use quality turf with high performing cultivars. The turf is hard wearing and attractive to the eye. This, combined with our professional preparation, ensures the best results, and a long healthy life span for your lawn. We purchase turf that has been grown from seed in some of the UK's finest turf nurseries. The process all begins at a strategically sought-out selected piece of land, known as the nursery, where the turf is grown, nurtured, and manicured to perfection. When ordering and purchasing our turf, we ensure that we only order what we require, thus ensuring our customers receive healthy fresh turf.
