Mackenzie Construction Ltd is a civil engineering and structural repairs contractor and a trusted, established and progressive partner for our clients. We provide certainty of project success in terms of quality and efficiency, and ensure that all projects are delivered with integrity and safety at the forefront for everyone involved. Health and safety was high in the priority of the site staff. They had good systems in place and it was apparent that this has been communicated to the operatives.
We formed our structural repair division in1984 and is a core member of the concrete repair association. We have strong partnerships within housing associations and local authorities, as well as a multitude of experience in delivering works and solutions which generate environmental improvements. We provide a complete design and build service for our partners and have delivered over 800 projects to provide external environmental improvement schemes and other associated projects. Mackenzie Construction ensures that it has the reactive capability to service the needs of our customers, wherever they are and whenever they need us.
As we are a growing business looking to the future, we work hard to retain our family-feel culture. Mackenzie Construction places people at the heart of our success and our professional, highly skilled and engaged workforce has helped us to become one of the leading civil engineering and construction firms in the country. Our skilled and loyal workforce is at the core of our business and all that we achieve. We pride ourselves on the high number of long-serving employees, often exceeding 25 years service, and we work hard to ensure that our team are fully trained and capable of carrying out any task required of them.
Our design and build team have been working for approximately 10 years on behalf of Scottish Water Horizons, on the development and subsequent construction of design and build contracts from conception to completion. The nature of the works relates predominately to the increase in drainage capacity on behalf of both private and public developers and involves the construction of on and offline storage solutions and the upgrading of existing treatment works and pumping stations. In conjunction with both of our consultancy services partners, we interrogate the DIA Report and, through extensive investigations, optioneering and risk assessment, develop the optimal solution.
Mackenzie Construction formed it's own structural repair division in 1984 and is a core member of the Concrete Repair Association. As leaders in this field, our wide reaching experience and strong knowledgeable teams ensure success. Our structural repair division specialises in all types of works including protective coatings, guniting and the application of proprietary concrete repairs systems and we are fully approved applicators of Sika, Fosroc, BASF and Weber SBD products. We are approved applicators for a range of flooring solutions including non-slip coatings, chemical resistant coatings, resin bound surfacing, resin and cementitious screeds.
