Woodlets is the UK's leading brand of super-premium grade 6mm wood pellets for use in all wood pellet boilers and stoves, they comply with the ENPlus A1 standard, are BSL registered and fully RHI compliant. Woodlets are manufactured at our UK pellet production plant situated in Girvan on the South West coast of Scotland. The raw materials that we use to make our pellets and power our in-house Combined Heat & Power unit (CHP) all come from Forest Standard accredited forests in the UK. We also take in and use co-product (waste) from sawmills in the form of sawdust, wood chip and logs rejected by other industries due to their size or shape.

Wood pellets provide a sustainable and reliable source of heat and hot water for your home and now more than ever are a credible alternative to oil. Wood pellet boilers are clean, easy to manage and offer the same level of control and flexibility as conventional oil and gas boilers. However, no matter how good your boiler is, it can only deliver the maximum amount of heat that the fuel can supply; it is therefore of vital importance to be sure you are using the highest quality fuel possible. In order to be able to claim your renewable heat incentive (RHI), your wood pellets must come from a supplier registered on the Biomass Suppliers list (BSL).

The cornerstone of our supply chain is our wood pellet production plant situated on the South West coast of Scotland in the picturesque South Ayrshire town of Girvan. The plant was developed and built by Land Energy and is adjacent to the Galloway National Forest, the largest forested area in the UK. Running alongside Land Energy's renewable energy beliefs is an equally strong conviction in quality, which is embedded in both the Land Energy and the Woodlets retail brands. All the pellets that are produced on the site meet or exceed the ENplus A1 quality standard and to ensure this our production runs are sampled every 60 minutes.

If you're considering installing a Wood Pellet Boiler in your home, during your research you will have come across the phrase 'renewable heat incentive' or RHI. What is it and what does it mean to you? RHI is a government-backed scheme that has been set up to help encourage homeowners to change from using fossil fuels to heat their homes to renewable energies, such as wood pellet boilers. It is a quarterly payment scheme that will run for up to 7 years from the date of commission. The payments are based on the number of kilowatt-hours of heat you produce and use.

Use Verdo pellets before but Woodlets pellet are notable better. My pellet stove once reach the room temperature for verdo pellet the water temperatures between 46 and 50Celsius it soon us down 47 the pump stop until reach 50 again Woodlets pellet same things room temperature reach and stays the water 52 Celsius so the stove running all the time not switching on and of the water pump. So defiantly a much better quality pellet. Not so impressed for delivery still waiting to someone call me back.

Received my 1st Woodlets order yesterday. Product is very good and was delivered on time by very helpful driver in a brand new lorry. My drive has a slope, so I ordered 1/2 tonne and together we got it to the house without problem.

Great size. We'll get 2 bags in the stove. No more half bags hanging around.

What's new?

The biomass heat industry is not the same as the biomass power industry.
