TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Driver drove van recklessly, ripping branches off my tree and causing extensive damage - a deep, long, wide gash to the tree trunk which may not recover. There was no need to go anywhere near the tree as there was plenty of room to park elsewhere in cul de sac. He then shouted abusively at me saying it was my fault. Dumped the bags of topsoil in the middle of the front lawn, not the spot agreed by telephone (maximum of 15 yards away in back garden.) He kept shouting 'driver's discretion. Read your terms and conditions' and drove off laughing. Owners have not apologized and have refused to make any reparation to cover cost of trying to repair the tree. Very distressing experience. It has left me very shaken and upset. I will never use this company again. If you care about your garden I would advise you not to let this company anywhere near it. BE WARNED.
I can't drive for medical reasons and up until this year I used to get my compost supplies from the local Homebase and taxi them back. It would normally take several trips and despite the staff being lovely the quality of the compost left a lot to be desired. Homebase closed and I was a bit worried about what I was going to do so I did a web search and found the aptly (if slightly generically) named Garden Solutions. The service was good. There was a slight delay in delivery because of demand which was explained politely in advance and the getting all of my soil delivered in one go saved me lots of money. It looks good quality stuff too.
