Gratebuild

Gratebuild has been delivering expert fireplace and stove installation services across the Lothians since 2000. As a family-run business with over 25 years of combined experience, we specialise in supplying and fitting slate, marble, stone, and wood fireplaces, multi-fuel stoves, log burners, and gas or electric fires. Our team, led by HETAS-registered installer Kevin Johnston, prioritises high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, offering tailored advice on installation, safety, and product selection. We are proud members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen and have built a reputation through recommendations from satisfied clients. Our comprehensive services include chimney lining, hearth installation, grate fitting, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring every project meets building regulations and client expectations.

With a focus on enhancing homes through functional and aesthetic solutions, we provide site visits to discuss options aligned with room size, budget, and design preferences. Our commitment to excellence extends to servicing stoves, renovating hearths, and installing chimney components, reflecting our dedication to long-term customer relationships. Recognised by East Lothian Council and Forest Fires at Christies, Edinburgh, we combine technical expertise with a personal approach to deliver reliable, professional results. Our gallery showcases completed projects, offering inspiration for homeowners seeking to improve their living spaces with efficient, stylish heating solutions.
