When local firms either didn't return calls or couldn't be bothered to deliver, a quick call to these guys and in 3 days I had a massive pallet load or chopped and ready to use hardwood logs. The pallet even got used for kindling. Brilliant service and very reasonably priced. Thanks folks

Ordered from the real firewood company for the first time this year. There was a slight problem involving the delivery company but a quick phone call and they were straight on the case! I ordered the wood briquettes and a crate of mixed birch and oak logs. I previously used briquettes from another company but I found out that these were composed of pine and spruce which created a lot of tar in the liner. These briquettes are made from birch so I'm not anticipating the same sort of problems. The kiln dried wood is superb as well and I even managed to keep the fire going overnight by using the oak logs(this was luck not my intention) but it shows the burning characteristics of this wood. One word of caution though, the briquettes do swell a fair bit when lit so don't pack them tight! I have found they are better by just breaking them in half which is easy to do.

Ordered for the first time and managed to get next day delivery as we have a new wood burning stoves and really wanted to try it out. The guys and girls where really professional and kept me up to date. Would not have an issue with ordering from the guys again. Top company.
