I stupidly went to a large well known electrical appliance store on Jubilee Retail Park this morning to purchase a Washing Machine and a Fridge Freezer. they advertise next day delivery, this is false advertising as they definitely do not and are not helpful at all. anyway, we then went to Combens on Portland and found them to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The lady was not at all pushy and was interested to find out what we wanted and what suited us both price wise and size wise We could choose our delivery day and could pick a morning or afternoon slot. I cannot praise them enough and they will be my first point of call from now on.
I purchased a plasma Panasonic tv from the Panasonic shop in Dorchester with a 5 year guarantee. After 4 years it went wrong, as it was still under guarantee I returned to the Panasonic shop where they informed me that plasma screen tv's could not be repaired and could not help me. I then contacted Combens of Portland who sorted the matter out and a new tv was supplied under the guarantee. I can not thank Combens enough for their help, and appreciate all that they did for me. A true and genuine firm unlike the Panasonic shop in Dorchester.
