Ashe provided an excellent service, the Site Manager for Ashe always made an effort to ensure the school were happy with arrangements and disruption was always kept to a minimum. Consultation took place regularly so the school was informed on progress and next steps. Founded in 1972 Ashe manages the design and construction of buildings for public and private sector clients. From our office based in Hertfordshire we serve a great diversity of markets and industries with schemes which require new construction, internal and external refurbishment, alterations and fit outs.
It has been a real pleasure to work with an employer with such a can do attitude. To not only offer your site classroom facilities to host the course, provide work experience placements for all 8 students and then to interview and employ 3 of them all on a few days' notice is nothing short of amazing. You have made a huge impact in helping to change these students lives for the better and for that I am very grateful. Ashe actively encourages the use of off-site and modular building technologies.
We just wanted to say a big thank you for our wonderful new building. It has been our first week in this week and makes it an absolute joy to come to work, for both staff and children/families. We are certainly now able to offer our children the very best possible start into education, in such wonderful surroundings. We are eternally grateful. We would also appreciate you passing our thanks onto your colleagues who worked with us on site.
Nothing against the company at all but Ashe Construction are currently extending Long Lawford School where on Monday morning I telephoned and visited Steve Brocklehurst the Foreman regarding 2 complaints In which I was not happy about and vented my frustration and discontent to Mr Brocklehurst but unfortunately Instead of a professional response Mr Brocklehurst offered no resolve options and asked "what do you want me to do about the pile of earth" (that Is currently covering my house and car daily In dust) erm.how about getting a Tarpaulin and covering It.! Mr Brocklehurst was straight on the defence from the start and raised his voice at me! Sorry Mr Brocklehurst but I have worked on building sites most of my life and whilst working In a residential area you should not upset residents and cause nuisance and noise 1st thing In the morning ( or at the very least you should do all you can to resolve matters Immediately) a phone call to Robert Slack contract manager seemed to of fell on deaf ears too!
