Beaumont Plumbing & Heating are a local family run business with two generations working in the business. Whilst most of our work is in the Herts, Beds and Bucks areas, we are prepared travel further to meet customer requirements. Ground source Heat Pumps, as the name suggests, use energy from the ground, Heat from the ground is absorbed at low temperatures into a fluid inside a loop of pipe (a ground loop) buried underground. The fluid then passes through a compressor that raises it to a higher temperature, which can then heat water for the heating and hot water circuits of the house. This requires a large area of garden/paddock or bore holes to accommodate the ground coils, but provides a more constant source of energy.
