Majestic Trees is an award-winning specialist grower of high quality mature and character trees for public and private planting. We cater for both trade and retail customers and are unique in offering a comprehensive in-house delivery and planting service for our trees, guaranteeing establishment of any tree we plant*. We have been trading since 2002 from our visitor friendly nursery in Hertfordshire, from which we deliver and plant nationwide.

Our twenty-seven acre visitor friendly nursery is located at the edge of the picturesque village of Flamstead in Hertfordshire, easily accessible from Junction 9 of the M1. We are unique amongst UK specimen tree nurseries in that we welcome nursery visitors with or without an appointment, allowing them to browse our tree lines independently if they so desire. There is no better way to shop for trees than to visit the Majestic Trees nursery. Prepare to be inspired! We have extended the original footprint several times, in order to accommodate our ever expanding range, which currently stands in excess of 11,000 trees and shrubs arranged in an assortment of over 500 varieties.

The story of Majestic Trees begins in sunny California almost 20 years ago, where our company founders, Steve and Janet McCurdy were at the time residing. Born and raised in Britain, Steve's horticultural training had taken him to Southern California many years previously. There he had met his wife, Janet, and together they had built up a highly successful interior landscape company, servicing many prestigious hotels, high profile commercial buildings and celebrity residences in the entertainment and business world.

Mature trees are not only heavy but extremely fragile, so to ensure our customers' orders arrive in top condition, we deliver our trees personally, nationwide, using our own fleet and specialist equipment. This means we can also offer a customised delivery service to suit the needs of each customer, from landscape contractor to elderly homeowner. Our standard lead time for delivery is within 2 weeks of order confirmation(sometimes 3 weeks during peak periods).

Correct planting is absolutely critical for tree establishment, so if you are inexperienced with tree planting, we highly recommend you avail of our in-house planting service. We do offer a full establishment guarantee on all stock we have planted for added peace of mind. We customise our planting services to suit the circumstances of each order, but generally offer two main levels of service. For both services, younger trees are secured by the traditional cross bar stake-and-tie method, and larger specimens with state-of-the-art overhead or underground Platipus anchorage systems.

A tree is perhaps the most enduring and poetic of monuments. Many species live for hundreds of years, developing unique, individual characters. Others, whilst shorter lived, faithfully remember our anniversaries with a spontaneous blessing of blossom, fruit, or colour.
