Established in 1971 Langford Nurseries and Garden Centre is one of the few remaining independent garden centres that still grow the vast majority of their plants on-site. Our plant area offers a huge range of shrubs, climbers, roses, alpines, herbaceous perennials and bedding plants for all seasons. Within the garden centre you will find an extensive range of watering products, tools, barbeques, plant feeds and insecticides as well as many sundry items for every gardening need. We also boast a large and select giftware department offering an extensive range to suit all tastes and budgets.
Situated in the picturesque village of Langford, Langford Nurseries and Garden Centre is in the heart of Bedfordshire in close proximity to the A1. Opened in 1971 originally as a nursery to grow trees and shrubs from seeds and cuttings that were sold on to the trade. In 1974 Langford Garden Centre was opened to the public and we have steadily developed into the centre that you know today. The nursery is still growing most of the plants that you are able to buy from us whether you are a tradesman or plant enthusiast.
Help and advice is always available from our own team of friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, who are always on hand to help you solve a variety of garden related questions. With over 100 years worth of experience between the staff in a vast range of gardening topics we are sure that we will be able to help you find the right solution to your problem. We also have leaflets full of advice on plants, contractors, soil, growing organically, wild life, hedges to name a few, which are regularly updated and free to take away.
At Langford Nurseries and Garden Centre we stock a huge range of products for your home and gardening needs. There are 1000's of items in stock for you to choose from. We are stockists of Alexander Rose, Leisuregrow and Tony Ward furniture. These are all very popular sellers for us and are manufactured to a high standard. Tony Ward furniture is sold assembled and the remainder are flat packed and easily transported. In the age where people want things in an instant, well as quickly as possible anyway, the time slaving over a charcoal barbeque no longer appeals to many of us.

Visited there last Xmas, and two years before that. We come over for holiday every second year from Perth Australia, and this is always at the top of our list. Beautiful gardens, plants, gift shop and Xmas shop and great cafe. Wonderful!
