Established in 1995, Carronbridge Sawmill has grown from a local forestry operation into a leading UK supplier of fencing and timber products. Our journey began when Brian and Veronica Wylie partnered with the Buccleuch Estate to revitalise the Thornhill sawmill, leveraging decades of combined industry experience. Today, we produce 300m of fencing materials weekly, including feather edge boards, larch lap panels, and pressure-treated timber, serving both local agricultural markets and nationwide customers. Our commitment to quality is evident in our in-house pressure treatment process, which ensures durability while maintaining eco-friendly practices.With 22 staff members and a fleet including two seven-and-a-half-ton vehicles, we combine hands-on expertise with efficient logistics to deliver mixed loads across the UK. Fencing Supplies
We manufacture and distribute comprehensive fencing components including feather edge boards, larch lap panels, and trellis systems. Our pressure-treated timber ensures long-lasting durability for agricultural and trade customers. Nationwide delivery options available.
Garden Sheds
Our flat-packed garden sheds feature tongue-and-groove construction with non-toxic base coatings. Available in multiple sizes from 6ft x 4ft up to 10ft x 8ft, all include assembly instructions and security fittings.
Outdoor Furniture
Pressure-treated pine benches and chairs available in 4ft to 8ft configurations. Flat-packed for easy assembly with robust construction designed to withstand UK weather conditions.

Do you deliver outside Scotland?
Yes, we deliver daily throughout the UK. Our primary haulier partner Bluapple handles nationwide distribution while we maintain local delivery capabilities with our own vehicles.
Are your timber products environmentally friendly?
Our pressure treatment process uses eco-friendly green treatment methods. We source all timber locally from Scottish forests and maintain sustainable forestry practices.
Can I purchase smaller quantities for personal projects?
While we primarily serve trade customers, we keep selected products like garden sheds and outdoor furniture available for individual buyers at our Thornhill site.
